Please do not use this form to contact me to inform me that I need to correct the scene in Her Guardian Cowboy where Amber mounts the horse on the right side just because "You always mount on the left side." Mostly because it saddens me that people are still teaching people this with no regard to the damage it does to a horse's back over time. Secondly, because it isn't a universal truth that everyone ALWAYS mounts on the left side no matter what YOU were taught. Thirdly, because some of you don't know how to speak to people in a respectful manner. I do not and will never respond to people who speak to me in a rude or condescending manner. PERIOD. Because I received a few comments and/or questions about this scene (some respectful and genuinely curious, some insulting and just...WOW), I did write a post on my blog because there seems to be a lot of misinformation about how someone should be taught to mount a horse. You can read it here

And for what it's worth, the hero of that book owns the horse rescue. Presley knows his horses. He would know if it was safe for Amber to mount on the right side of that particular horse, and being the man that he is, he would train all his horses to be mounted on both sides because Presley takes care of his horses.
